Akos founded and has been the managing director of Allegro Consulting since 2016. Prior to founding Allegro Consulting, Akos worked as a competition economist at RBB Economics. He worked on many cases involving mergers and acquisitions, cartels (Article 101) and dominance (Article 102) in front of the European Commission and national jurisdictions. Akos has experience with cases concerning a broad range of sectors including markets of telecommunications, rapid package delivery, hard-disk drives, wholesale fruit, FMCG, aggregates, cement, asphalt, retail business, beer, and animal health products.
His track record includes high-profile merger cases like FedEx/TNT, AngloAmerican/Lafarge, DIGI/Invitel, Chiquita/Fyffes, Western Digital/Hitachi, and AG Barr/Britvic. His non-merger experience covers information exchange, exclusive dealing and cartel damages estimation cases.
